Obituary
Terry Terrell Brown, Sr. age 39, of Springfield, IL departed this life on Friday December 5, 2025, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital.
Terry was born in Springfield, IL to Terry “Jackie” Brown and Erma Jean Sutton on March 21, 1986. He grew up in Springfield, IL and attended Springfield High School. He had a strong passion for his family and friends. He loved to hang out and have a great time with family and friends. His greatest attribute in life was loyalty to the people he loved. Once he was your friend you knew you had a friend for life. He was a beautiful soul with a contagious smile and a laugh that would lighten up a room and uplift all around him. He was a loveable person who gave his love to everyone he came across. There was nothing he would not do for his family and friends. To know him was to love him and his love for his kids was utmost in his mind. His proudest moments were the birth of his daughter who he called his little princess and the birth of his first and only grandson.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Erma Jean Sutton and his grandmother Mary T. Sutton; Terry is survived by his father Terry “Jackie” Brown, stepmother Annie Brown of Springfield, IL, his fiancé Amber Bolen of Springfield, IL. His six children Terry Brown, Jr. (Talaya Bishop), Sincere Brown, Auvier Day, Aeriyelle Brown of Springfield, IL, Terius Brown of Bolingbrook, IL, and Teriyah Brown of Atlanta, GA. His bonus kids Makayla, Brooklyn, Brayden, Heidey, Hayleigh, of Springfield, IL. His seven brothers and sisters Anthony Sutton (Birda Brown), Cornelius Brown (Michelle Jones), Jermain Tyler, Jermar Tyler, Shanikia Tyler, Jakina Tyler, and Jerika Tyler of Springfield, IL. One grandson Tylen Brown and special friends Ebony Brown, Breon Bennett and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
