Obituary

Rose Marie Oller, daughter to Boots and Marie Schuh, sister to Tom, Jerry, Chris, and Mike, graduated from Lanpher High School. She met Ronald Oller, the man of her dreams. They were married on June 8, 1957. Rose had two children, Christina and Ronald Jr. She had 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several more extended great grandchildren. She loved each and every one with all her heart unconditionally.

Rose started working at the Hospital Sisters Motherhouse, then on to Franklin Life Co. She then qualified as a real estate agent and joined her cousin Paul Green and later worked with Julie Davis. Rose was also a medical records coder for St John’s Hospital, retired, and hired on with Memorial Medical Center. She retired again in 2005 and enjoyed life with her husband going out to eat, going on trips, taking cruises, and frequent gambling trips with her family and friends. Rose also enjoyed accompanying her husband as he drove his Western Star truck across the country.

Rose moved to the Villa East Senior Care Facility in July 2020 and met many new friends. She was still sharp minded and quick witted and, as she said, “worked to become the voice of those who couldn’t”.

Rose was proceeded in death by her husband Ronald L Oller, Sr., her daughter Christina Oller, her grandson Douglas Cortelyou, her Great-Grandchild Thealynn Vaughn, and her brother Michael Schuh.

She will be remembered by her son Ronald L Oller, Jr. (Victoria), her brothers Tom Schuh (Barbara), Jerry Schuh, and her sister Chrisine Price. Her Grandchildren Anthony Cortelyou, Robert (Merlinda) Oller, Russell (Jinger) Oller, Ryan Oller, Amanda (George) Vaughn, and her Grand-Daughter-in-Law Randi. Her Great Grandchildren Alexis Guthrie, Isabella Cortelyou, Reese Oller, Ross Oller, Josalynn Oller, Ryleigh Howard, Jaylin Parrish, Cecilia Cortelyou, and Amelia Vaughn.
