Obituary
Richard “Kid” Joiner, Jr., 70, departed this life on September 25th, 2025, surrounded by family in the comfort of his home. Richard was born on June 25, 1955, in Rockdale, Mississippi to the parents of Richard and Mary Joiner, Sr. Richard was the 3rd child of 18 children.
At an early age, Richard accepted Christ and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Silas Johnson.
Richard attended Humphrey County Elementary School in Belzoni, Mississippi. Richard was an entrepreneur. In his later years, Richard enjoyed working as a custodian at Calvary Baptist Church.
Richard favorite hobbies included talking on CB radios, being a DJ, and working on cars.
Richard was preceded in death by father, Richard Joiner, Sr., mother, Mary Joiner-Harris, sons Terry L. Wilson, Sr. and Sammie T. McClinton, brothers Alec Sanders and Willie E. Joiner, Sr., sisters Annie L. Joiner and Lillie M. Joiner, grandsons Jarvael S. Miller and Terry L. Wilson, Jr. and granddaughter, Clarashea M. Hebron.
Richard leaves to cherish his loving memory, father Houston Harris; sons, Tony “Tone Loc” McClinton and Darion D. Joiner; daughters Tammie McClinton-Lloyd (Michael) and Felicia Wilson (Rachell); brothers, Charlie Sanders, Robert L. Joiner (Diane), Henry L. Joiner, Eugene Joiner, Sr; Lynard Joiner, Sr, and Jessie J. Joiner; sister, Dorothy L. Joiner; special grandson, Timothy Terrel McClinton, special niece, Kianna “KiKi” Joiner, special nephew, Charles “6’4” Miller, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
