Obituary
ARTAVYIOUS TRENTON-ALEXANDER WILLIAMS 25, departed this life on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Pinckneyville, IL. Artavyious was born February 7, 2001, the son of Lee Williams, Jr., and Kristy Burris in Springfield, IL.
With a smile that could capture your heart and light up any room, Artavyious lived with a joyful, go-go spirit that lifted everyone around him.
A gifted athlete and state champion on the basketball court, he loved the game, his teammates, and the friendships that made those moments some of the best of his life.
If you were having a bad day, Artavyious had a way of making it better; his laughter, his energy, and his heart were unforgettable.
Though he is gone from our sight, his spirit and love live on inside all of us. When we look up, we know he’s still smiling down.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Maurice Burris; and grandmothers, Rebecca Burris and Mary Ann Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Kristy Lynn Burris; father, Lee Williams, Jr.; brothers, TrayLee Price, Detahjz Lewis, and Mason Williams; grandfather, Lee Williams, Sr.; uncle, Jacob Burris; aunt, Nawanda Williams; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends.
