Obituary
Born on December 28, 1962, Sergeant Manor Joseph III was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was marked by service, generosity, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone he encountered. On Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the age of 63, he peacefully transitioned from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness.
Affectionately known as “Mane,” he was the son of the late Manor Joseph Jr. and the late Dorothy Lee Frazier Joseph. He accepted Christ at an early age, was baptized, and became a devoted member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend J. C. Miller, Jr. Raised in Madison, Florida, Mane developed lifelong friendships and deep community roots that shaped the man he would become.
After graduating high school in 1981, he continued his education at North Florida Junior College. In 1985, he answered a higher calling—enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, where he began a distinguished military career defined by honor, discipline, and faithful service to his country.
From 1985 to 1997, Manor proudly served in the Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Sergeant. His professionalism and exemplary conduct earned him numerous commendations, including the Meritorious Mast, Good Conduct Medal (4 awards), Meritorious Unit Commendation (2 awards), Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Marine Corps Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, M16 Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, and 9MM Pistol Marksman Badge. His service stands as a testament to his courage, integrity, and unwavering dedication.
Mane was known for his warm, welcoming personality—he truly never met a stranger. His infectious laugh could fill a room, and his generous heart made him a source of comfort and joy to all who knew him. Whether offering a helping hand or sharing a moment of laughter, he lived with a spirit of kindness that left a lasting imprint on countless lives.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved children: D’Onatario Joseph, Shonkeia Joseph, and Chiarra Joseph; his cherished grandchild, Iazayah Joseph‑Codio; his devoted sisters, Sheila Reddick (Nickie) and Danedra McCray (Frederick); his cousin‑brother, Andre Irvine; and his sister‑in‑love, Jackie Joseph. He is also survived by his uncles: Walter Frazier (Emma), Johnny Frazier, Windford Frazier, Darren Williams, and John Williams (Nancy); his aunts: Clara Patterson (Frank), Rosa Akins, Ola Hart (Alfred), and Effie Owens; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.
Though his earthly journey has ended, the memory of his laughter, his kindness, and his unwavering love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
