Obituary

Stavelie C. Pierre departed this life on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Memorial West Hospital, at the age of 78.

Stavelie was born on February 10, 1947, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Clerina Clément and Antoine Celestin. She was the second of two children. Stavelie is survived by her three children, Emmanuella, Voltaire, and Audile; and ten grandchildren, Godverline, Christian, Isaiah, Tyler, Bella, Jeremiah, Voltaire, Valencia, Keirah, and Zyaire.

Affectionately known as “Fifi” by her family and friends, Stavelie lived a life full of love, laughter, and faith. She was a lifelong member of Notre Dame D’Haiti Catholic Church and a proud high school graduate from Haiti.

Stavelie was known for her kind heart, vibrant sense of humor, and the boundless compassion she showed to everyone around her. She always gave selflessly and poured love into others whenever they needed it most.

She was a devoted sister, a loving mother, a loyal friend, and an amazing grandmother—cherished by many and supported by all. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her warmth and love will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Rest on, “FiFi.” You will truly be missed.
