Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Scetia May Morrison, who departed this life on October 18, 2026, at the age of 90. Scetia was born on May 23, 1936, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Her parents were Hezekiah Morrison and Lilian. Throughout her life, she was known for kindness, strength, humor, and generosity.
Scetia was a true woman of God. She was an active member of her church, Universal Truth Center. Scetia was a very kind-hearted individual. She loved working in her salon where she would build relationships with people. Through her training in cosmetology, she used her time and talent to help other hair dressers cultivate their skills. Scetia enjoyed baking, cooking, music, and dancing. She touched the lives of many through special accomplishments, relationships, and contributions. In her extra time, she loved to read the Bible. Scetia was a strong and powerful prayer warrior. Anytime you needed her, she was there for you.
Scetia is survived by her two daughters and two sons. Though Scetia is no longer with us physically, the love, memories, and legacy she leaves behind will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Scetia will be missed. However, her legacy will live on through her brother, children, grand-children, great-grand children, family, and friends.
