Obituary

On Monday, October 5, 1936, Sara Lee was born to Robert J. Lee and Lizzie Sconiers Lee (Moore) in Samson, AL. She was the oldest of nine children. Her family moved to Miami, FL in 1947.

She later married Noah Stringer and from that union had two daughters, Dorothy Stringer and Francina Stringer. They lived in Richmond Heights, FL for many years.

Sara worked at Hialeah Hospital until her retirement. One of her favorite hobbies was that she loved to go fishing. On holidays, it would be a fun family outing with some of her siblings and others. She is preceded in death by her husband, Noah; daughter, Dorothy; and siblings, Robert James Lee, Carolyn Jones, Joann Moore, Eltonia Jones, and Pamela Williams.

Many years ago, Sara accepted the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ into her life and joined The Church of God Tabernacle (True Holiness) in Miami, FL. She was an active member and a faithful saint and always pressed her way to get to the House of God every time the doors opened. She didn’t like missing church. Sara loved giving of her resources and was a cheerful giver. She was known to give her last, even if it left her with nothing. That’s just how she was!

While at Unity Health Center, the Father of all creation called her away to rest on Friday, June 13, 2025. Sara will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Francina Stringer; her grandchildren, Mark Lamar Lee (Chiquita) and Brenda Stringer; six great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren; her sisters, Bobbie Harden and Sandra Clark, and her brother, Royce Moore(Rosa) along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, her church family, and friends.
