A TIME TO BE BORN

Rose Mary Lilly was born to the late James and Marion Lilly on October 28, 1972 in Miami, FL.

Rose was the fourth child of their five daughters. She attended North County Elementary, Lake Stevens Middle and was a graduate of American Senior High School in 1990, where she took interest in the marching band, dance and cosmetology. 

A TIME TO LOVE

Rose met the love of her life Kevin Greene in 1998. From this blessed union, Rose inherited a daughter and son Ke’Dedra and Kevon. Rose and Kevin remained in love for 27 years until God called her home in 2025.

A TIME TO SERVE

Rose used her voice and compassion as a Customer Service agent for 20 years, but never forgot her true passion for cosmetology. She took extreme pride in becoming a licensed beautician and fashionista where she had the opportunity to make others look and feel as beautiful as herself.

Roses’ mission in life was to be an obedient and faithful servant of God. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and joined Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Perrine, Florida. She later moved her membership to Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Miami, Florida.

A TIME TO LET GO AND LET GOD

On June 8, 2025, Rose was called home to be with her heavenly father. 

Left with wonderful memories are her loving and devoted fiancé, Kevin Greene; five sisters: Tongela (Troy) Richardson, Marion(Don) Roberson, LaSandra(Rod)Palmer, Christi(Rebecca) Lilly; two grandchildren: Kimora and Kimani Greene; one uncle: Zack(Alva)Stewart; two aunts: Deborah(Harry)Asberry, Elizabeth Severance; five nephews: Patrick Jr., James, Edward Jr., Michael and Leon III; four nieces: India, Shanice, Zipporah and Denise and a plethora of great nephews, nieces, cousins and friends to carry on our race to that beautiful reward prepared for us by our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
