Obituary
Mary Alice Ramsay was born on October 25, 1957, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Emma Lee Williams and Charlie Kensley.
As the first-born of five siblings, Mary took on the responsibility of caring for her brothers and sisters while her mother worked.
Mary received her education in Atlanta, Fulton County. Throughout the years, she established her own family. Eventually, Mary relocated to Miami, Florida, where she began a new chapter in her life. She worked in various roles, including as a laundromat employee, cafeteria worker, and school bus attendant for Miami Dade County Public Schools. Mary met and married Leroy Ramsay, and together they expanded their family to include a total of seven children, cherishing their life together with them.
On July 6, 2025, God extended his hand to Mary, inviting her to join her Heavenly Father, leaving behind cherished memories with: her seven adult children, Lakita Williams (Kirk Nicholson), Latosha Williams, Latonya Williams, Demarco Williams, Sr. (Irma Shabazz-AKA-Tricey), Anthony Ramsay, India Ramsay, and Monique Ramsay; 14 grandchildren, Tavisia Devoe, Dantericka Williams, Tarielle Devoe, Tre'von Spencer, Tamya Devoe, Raniya Pinate, Dasia Williams, Demarco Williams, Jr., Anyla Collins, Tiana Williams, Jaylen Williams, Nevaeh Ramsay, Legend Joassaint, and Anthony Ramsay Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Savali Devoe and Kalaea Devoe; her youngest sister, Sheckeela Williams; her youngest brother, Michael Williams; the love of her life, Leroy Ramsay; and a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
