Obituary
LEARLEAN ALBERTHA RAHMING-WADE was joyfully welcomed into the world on November 6, 1953, in Miami, Florida, born to the late Joseph Elijah Rahming, Jr., and Thelma Jane Rahming. From the very beginning, Learlean’s life was marked by warmth, strength, and an enduring love for others.
She was educated in the Miami-Dade County public school system, attending Bunche Park Elementary, North Dade Junior High, and proudly graduating from Miami Carol City Senior High School.
A woman of deep faith, Learlean believed that service to God was life’s greatest calling. She was baptized at an early age and nurtured her spiritual walk through active membership in several congregations over the years, including Mount Hermon AME Church in Miami Gardens, White Rock Baptist Church, and later Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Her faith was not just a part of her life it was the foundation upon which she stood.
Learlean had a true heart for service and a lifelong passion for helping others. She pursued nursing at the Florida College of Business and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Throughout the 1980s, she worked with care and compassion at Arch Creek Nursing Home, dedicating herself to the well-being of her patients.
After enduring the unimaginable heartbreak of losing her beloved daughter, Antoinette, Learlean showed extraordinary resilience. She gracefully transitioned into a new chapter, beginning a long and fulfilling career in the hospitality industry. For over two decades, she was a dedicated Supervisor in the Club Level Suites at Joe Robbie Stadium, now known as Hard Rock Stadium, where her work ethic and warm spirit made her beloved by both colleagues and guests. She retired from the stadium in 2013, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and grace.
Learlean was more than her titles or career, she was a nurturer, a matriarch, a woman of laughter and light. Her presence filled every room with love, and her life was a testament to perseverance, faith, and the quiet power of a mother’s love.
Learlean has completed her course and made her earthly transition to her heavenly home, where she joins her parents, Joseph and Thelma Rahming; daughter, Antoinette; brother, Dwight Farrington; and husband, Horace Wade.
Those who are left to celebrate her extraordinary life and treasure her memory are: her sons, Dwight Fulton (Tenika) of Port St Lucie, and Donte Fulton, Nicholas Rahming (Monique), and Nathan Rahming (Patricia), all of Miami; daughters, Nichole Rahming of Miami and Shaquita Rahming-Ridley (Julian) of Houston, TX; sisters, Josephine Small, Jacqueline Allen (Andrew), and Veronica Rahming of Miami; brother, Eric Rahming of Miami; grandchildren, Tatianna Fulton, Kianna Fulton, Jessamyn Fulton, Sereniti Fulton, Ashton Fulton, Autumn Fulton, Daijah Rahming, Roshard Rahming, Elana Rahming, Kennedy Stubbs, Edward Stubbs, Mckayla Griffith, Beyonce Rahming, Nicholas Rahming, Jr., Christian Rahming, and Harper Ridley; nieces, Torsha Rahming, Kenecia Allen, and Nechate Scott; nephew, Andrew Allen; and several cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and forever cherished by her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched.
