Obituary
Katherine Watson was born on November 30, 1936, in Sebring, Florida, to the late Bishop and Hettie Watson. She entered into rest on September 29, 2025.
She moved to Miami in 1954, where she worked faithfully as a housekeeper to provide for her four boys, making countless sacrifices so they could have a better life. Her strength and devotion to her family will never be forgotten.
Katherine loved God deeply, and her greatest joy was found in her family. Katherine also enjoyed cooking, caring for her yard, painting, traveling, and creating special memories with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Watson and Ronnie Watson.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons: Randy (Patricia) Watson of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Rickie Watson of Miami, Florida. Katherine also leaves behind her sister, Hettie (Glenn) Powell of Melbourne, Florida; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Katherine will be dearly missed. Her family takes comfort in knowing that one day she will be seen again, renewed, vibrant, and even more beautiful in Paradise.
The Watson family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shown love, kindness, and sympathy during this time of loss. Your prayers and encouraging words have brought great comfort.
