Obituary

George Henry Earlywas born on August 11, 1948, in Coconut Grove, Florida, to Mary Lee and Usie Early. He was the second oldest son of five children, Ben Early, Carolyn Early, Harold Early, all preceding him in death, and one surviving sister, Terri Hodge.

George received his formal education through Miami-Dade Public Schools, graduating from Miami Northwestern Senior High in 1966. He later attended George T. Baker Aviation Technical College in Miami, Florida, where he graduated with a specialization in Jet Mechanics.

He also proudly served his country in both the United States Army as a crew chief/mechanic and the Air Force as an Engine Manager, giving a total of six years of military service.

He was united in holy matrimony to Lola Robinson in 1974.

He fathered four beloved children: Michael Donnell Robinson, Mary Tiffany Early, Monica Lynette Early, and Frances Christina Early.

At an early age, George received the Lord as his personal Savior, and his faith remained an important part of his life and legacy.

George dedicated 30 years of service to Florida Power & Light as a Jet Engine Mechanic, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.

He was a proud grandfather to Alysha Roberts, Anitra Roberts, Destiny Early, Paradayce Pizzaro, and many other cherished grandchildren. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: James Darville, Jonathan Pizarro Jr., Brayden Carter Pizarro, Hazel Marie Pizarro, and Nova Skye Pizarro.

In addition to his professional and military life, George was deeply involved in his community. He was part owner of Achievers Hall, a banquet hall that brought people together for special occasions. He volunteered with the Worldwide Learning and Radio Network (WLRN) reading for the blind and found great joy in music as a trumpet player in the North Miami Pops Band.

George was also a loving uncle to Harold Early Jr, Anthony Early, Melody Early, Chanae Early, Rasheeia Early, Lee Curgel, Sharvis Early, Alexis Logan, and a host of other nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

George Henry Early, age 77, passed away on January 27, 2026, at approximately 6:00 PM, surrounded by loved ones.

George will be remembered for his dedication, generosity, and the love he had for his family and community. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.
