Obituary

Cynthia Lee Haughton was born on August 12, 1956, to Charlie William Rodgers and Lee Julia Rodgers. She departed this life on June 25, 2025. Cynthia was preceded in death by both her parents and four siblings: Janice Rodgers, Ray Charles Rodgers, Terry Rodgers, and Charlotte Johnson.

She received her education in Paxton, Florida at Paxton High School, and at the age of 16 she met and married the love of her life, Ernest Haughton, Sr. To this union two handsome boys were born: Ernest Haughton, Jr., and Lemuel Haughton.

Early on in her career she was employed by Waste Management Recycling Plant and Safelite Auto Glass until retirement.

She enjoyed spending time with her sons as well as loving and spoiling all her grandkids near and far. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Sunday dinners and cookouts.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Ernest Sr.; children, Ernest Haughton (Jessica) and Lee Haughton (Wynter); grandchildren, Janiah Haughton, Heaven Haughton, Nevaeh Haughton, Jahira Haughton, Irie Haughton, Moses Haughton, Annlisa Haughton, and Sieur Haughton; sisters and brother, Alice Poole (Calvin), Linda Tarver, and Stevie Rodgers (Gail); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved.
