A Time to Be Born
On March 23, 1964, Connie Chanell Marie Davis was born at Mount Saint Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida, to the proud parents Johnny C. and Grace Marie Davis. She was their eldest child and is survived by her sister, Sherryl Denise Regina Davis.
A Time to Grow
Connie began her early education at Charles R. Drew Elementary in Liberty City, Florida. She later attended Charles R. Drew Middle School and graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School in Liberty City, Florida.
A Time to Plant
Connie had a deep love for music, good food, and beauty. She discovered her passion for hairstyling at an early age, earned a license in cosmetology, and enjoyed sharing her talent with others.
Her Legacy
Connie Davis departed this life on October 11, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved nephews, the late Deiwan Davis and Isaac Brown, Jr., and a host of many nieces and nephews.
Connie Davis was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Johnny C. Davis and Grace Marie Davis; beloved sister, Sherryl Denise Regina Davis; eldest niece, Shawntavia Sands; eldest nephew, Tramain Davis (wife, Tiffany); nephew, Craig Davis (wife, Marilyn); and nieces, Johniceia Owens and Quanisha Davis.
Connie’s warmth, laughter, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered. Though she is no longer with us in body, her light continues to shine in the hearts of those who loved her. Her memory will remain a source of strength, comfort, and inspiration to everyone whose life she touched.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
