Obituary
Clifford Joyner, age 71, of Miami, FL, was born in Allendale, SC, on April 11, 1954, to the late Alfred Joyner and Mae Ethel Love Joyner.
Clifford entered into eternal rest on November 20, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Miami Lakes, FL. In his final moments, he lifted his left arm high toward his wife, daughter-in-law, and two sisters who were by his side as he said goodbye to this life.
Clifford was a retired roofer with Vista Roofing Company and later worked as a landscaper with Seacrest Services where he was known as a devoted and hardworking man. He cherished his loving wife and had a special fondness for his 1984 blue Ford F-150 truck. In 2020, Covid robbed him of his livelihood but not his life. Although he was resuscitated, he struggled to breathe alone and required oxygen for his final five years. God breathed the breath of life into him as Clifford was a born-again believer.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Wilson Joyner, whom he married on November 4, 1993, celebrating 32 years together. He is also survived by his siblings, Alfred Joyner, Jr., Daryl Joyner, Doris Joyner-Walden Smith, Mary Joyner, Mae Noel, Janie Joyner, Rose Joyner, and Carolyn Jenkins. Cliff is further survived by his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
