Beverly Elesia Hadley James was born on July 13, 1958, in Miami, Florida to Rosalind Porier Hadley and Emory Hadley II (preceded her in death). She entered the world as the firstborn of six, a position she carried not as a title, but as a calling, one marked by love, responsibility, and quiet strength. As the eldest sister to Emory (Man), Brendolyn (Brenie), Gwendolyn (Gwenie), Lor, and Lisa, Beverly was a guide, a protector, and a steady presence whose care flowed naturally and without condition.
