Obituary
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Angie Morrell Cooper, a cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend. Angie was born on December 19, 1969, and left us on April 14, 2026, leaving an enduring legacy of love, strength, and compassion.
Angie was a fierce advocate, always the first to lend a hand to those in need. Her heart was as boundless as her spirit, and she was known throughout the Coconut Grove community for her dedication to helping others. Whether it was a neighbor in need or a friend facing hardship, Angie was a constant source of support and love, embodying the values of kindness, generosity, and determination.
A proud graduate of Coral Gables Senior High, Angie pursued her dreams with unwavering determination, earning an Associate of Arts in Business from Miami Dade College. Throughout her career, she worked in a variety of industries, including hospitality, security, and the public school system, where her contributions touched the lives of many. Angie’s work ethic and commitment to service made her a respected figure in every community she touched.
Angie’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Victor Cooper, and their two children, Victoria Cooper and Victor Cooper Jr., as well as her beloved grandson, Elijah Zion Cooper. She was a devoted sister to Lizzie Morrell, Dorothy Morrell, and Ammie (Nick) Morrell, and a cherished aunt to many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Angie’s strength, warmth, and unwavering love will forever be etched in our hearts. Her legacy of selflessness and her tireless fight for others continues to inspire all who knew her. What we lost in the physical realm, we have gained in the spiritual a powerful angel watching over us, continuing to fight for us and guide us with her eternal love.
Rest in peace, Peach. You will forever be missed and forever loved.
